The apartment is well furnished and very luminous.
The large window front of the living room opens to a beautifully situated terrace overlooking the roofs of Venice. The terrace is equipped with a table and 2 chairs.
On the opposite side there is another small balcony.
The double bed (2 mattresses) is separated from the living room by a wall element. The passage is open, no door. Can be separated and darkened with a fabric curtain.
Location:
The apartment is located in the district of Cannaregio on the Fondamenta Ormesini (towards the Fondamenta della Misericordia), not far away from the Ghetto (the ancient Jewish district).
This district is particularly characterized by still intact neighborhood life, recognizable also by the many small charming shops both for food and for all sorts of everyday needs. At Ponte delle Guglie there is also a daily market on weekdays, where you can buy fresh fish, fruits and vegetables of the highest quality.
This part of Venice is crisscrossed by wide channels that give the neighborhood a romantic yet refreshingly friendly atmosphere and invite to interesting walks, such as in the nearby ghetto.
Due to the good connection to public transport, the location of the apartment also provides an interesting starting point for exploratory trips on the waterways.
By a pleasant 20-25 minute walk you can reach Rialto bridge as well as St. Mark’s Square, but if you don’t want to walk, you can take a waterbus (vaporetto) at the nearest stop, San Marcuola, near the Casino, where line 1 and line 2 stops to take you along the Grand Canal.
