The apartment is located in the historic center of Venice in the district of Castello, next to Campo San Provolo. It is less than a 5-minute foot walk to St. Mark’s Square and about 10 minutes to the Rialto Bridge.
You can reach many famous sights. At a short distance there are the Greek Orthodox church (Chiesa dei Greci), the marvelous San Zaccaria renaissance church and the lively Campo Santa Maria Formosa.
The apartment is very central, close to the main architectural attractions, but also close to the original and quiet core of the district Castello with its numerous food shops and down-to-earth bars and trattorias.
This is a very well served district, with restaurants, cafes and shops of all kind.
Because of its proximity to the San Zaccaria boat landing, the apartment is an ideal starting point for excursions to the more distant parts of the city and to the islands.
In 5 to 10 minutes you can reach the Arsenale with the attractive part of the Biennale’s exhibition areas. And in about 15 minutes you can reach the Giardini, where the Biennale contemporary Art Exhibition is held.
